Wishlists
When I was little, I loved to pore over the Lillian Vernon and Miles Kimball catalogs my mother received in the mail. Once I was old enough to get my own mail, I put myself onto as many mailing lists as I could find, and when each catalog arrived I would attack it with a highlighter, marking up items I liked. I figure this was a combination of greed and a deep-seated desire for list-making. Keeping a wishlist online is delightfully simple, so I have signed up for many over the years. Some are consolidators and others direct from one store; some have specific content and others are just free-for-alls. I used to maintain a “gimme page” that was of minor renown, but I got rid of it a long time ago. Instead I bring you a meta-list of my online wishlists. Feel free to purchase something for me if you’re so inclined.
