Details
The northeastern terminus of the Red line, Glenmont is the only underground suburban terminal. It serves mostly residential areas, and those commuting from points north of the city. There are a few strip malls and shopping centers in the area around the station, and a WMATA rail storage yard just northeast of the station entrances.
